Ward Party

So today we had a ward party, and it was at "the church just south of the temple" "its within walking distance so you won't need a car". None of my roommates were going to go but I figured that because it was "in walking distance" I would walk. So there is a church RIGHT next to the temple but when I walked in to that church and it was a married ward activity. After calling home I learned that I needed to go past the temple and turn away from town. Long story short I ended up walking 1.4 miles uphill to a church in the middle of no where.
The walk wasn't too bad, but it was cold and I was frustrated. Walking home was pretty good except... I was crossing the street, in the crosswalk and apparently this car didn't see me even though I was RIGHT IN FRONT of them. But I'm okay!

On the plus side I walked almost 3 miles today!
